Jonathan Richman’s ‘I, Jonathan’ to get first-ever vinyl release

I, Jonathan, the fourth solo album by Jonathan Richman, is being handed its first-ever vinyl release.

The special exclusive release comes in celebration of 50th anniversary of Rounder Records and is being pressed by Craft Recordings. On top of that, Vinyl Me, Please are releasing ‘summer sky blue’ edition of the album.

“The best distillation of Jonathan Richman’s work from Modern Lovers through his solo work, I, Jonathan is now on vinyl for the first time,” the item description reads.

“It’s one of the VMP x Rounder collaborations in the year-long celebration of the Rounder 50th Anniversary honouring the label’s rich legacy with a unique offering of catalogue reissues, box sets, live events, an original podcast series, and more.”

The iconic album features fan-favourite tracks such as ‘I Was Dancing in the Lesbian Bar’, ‘That Summer Feeling’, ‘Parties in the U.S.A.’ and more.
