Jon Bon Jovi’s Nashville bar placed on the market for $130 million price

Jon Bon Jovi‘s bar in Nashville is up for sale. However, it does come with a $130 million price tag.

According to the local Tennessee publication, The Tennessean, JBJ’s, which opened its doors in 2024, went on the market on September 30th, but the Bon Jovi frontman remains committed to the project.

Chris Urban, managing director with the estate agent, Surmount, responsible for the listing, has confirmed Bon Jovi signed a 20-year lease and remains committed to seeing the contract through with JBJ’s even if the ownership of the building changes.

For the project, Bon Jovi teamed up with real estate development firm BPH Hospitality, a subsidiary of Big Plan Holdings, which bought the property in 2020. The rock frontman played a pivotal role in designing the establishment which is 36,767-square-foot and boasts five stories.

The $130 million listing reads, “This 5-story, 36,767 SF ground-up development marks the first of its kind on Broadway since 2018, and the second largest venue on the strip. Structured as a 20-year NNN sale-leaseback with 2% annual rental increases, this is a truly generational chance to own a trophy asset in one of America’s busiest entertainment corridors.”

JBJ’s, as one would expect with a $130 million price tag attached, does have a prime location in Nashville with access to both Broadway and Fourth Avenue.

Upon opening the bar in June 2024, Bon Jovi said: “Well, this is Music City. This is where all kinds of musical styles have come together for decades now. It’s a place that we’re very familiar with. We’ve done several albums here. So many of our big hits were written here, and now we have a place to call home. So it’s a little bit of New Jersey on the strip in Nashville.”

Bon Jovi, despite not being able to tour due to the singer’s vocal issues, also played two shows at the venue in 2024.
