Joe Cocker – A Little Help From My Friends

Joe Cocker is synonymous with the soulful and sultry sounds that make soul music worth listening to. Full of heartbreak and sad regret Joe Cocker was a master of the art and completed his life’s work as his struggle with Lung Cancer finally won out and he died yesterday aged 70.

The Sheffield born singer was an Oscar winner, a Golden Globe winner and one the famous faces to adorn Woodstock but he was known, most notably, for his incredible rendition of The Beatles classic ‘A Little Help From My Friends’ we have, in tribute we have decided to make it our Track of the Day. He made a pop song soulful with a flick of his larynx and in turn made a world fall in love with his talent.

RIP Joe Cocker.
