Jason Momoa decided to lead a huge red carpet Haka at the premiere of his new film Aquaman in Los Angeles.
The Hawaiian/American actor, who was joined for the Haka by New Zealand’s Temuera Morrison, performed ‘Ka Mate’ in front of cheering crowds on Wednesday.
‘Ka Mate’, a Māori haka composed by a war leader of the Ngāti Toa tribe of the North Island of New Zealand, has been glamorised in modern years the by All Blacks rugby team who perform their version before every match.
Aquaman, which lands in cinemas this weekend, has already caused a splash in China where it smashed their box office records on the opening weekend.
