Japandroids stream new album ‘Near to the Wild Heart of Life’

Following last weeks release of the single ‘No Known Drink or Drug’, Japandroids’ have made their new album Near to the Wild Heart of Life available to stream via NPR music, the first new music since 2012’s Celebration Rock will be officially available on the 27th of January.

Departing from Polyvinyl the new eight track album will be released by Anti- and the duo will begin a host of US and European tour dates in February set to run throughout the year. As per its predecessor the album follows a concept for the first and latter 4 tracks each with “their own loose narrative” and is characteristic of their unique pop-punk, noise hybrid with a slightly more polished edge than previous release.
