Jack White announces $20 student tickets for ‘No Name’ tour

Jack White has announced a new initiative allowing students to attend his ongoing tour in support of his latest album, No Name, for $20.

For this tour, White has returned to his roots by performing in more intimate settings rather than arenas which have been typically his home for many years. However, he also wants to ensure it is affordable for those with less disposable income.

Taking to Instagram, White shared on February 10th: “For every stop on the No Name Tour, a limited number of student tickets will be available to purchase in-person only at each venue’s box office on show day. These tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis with a valid student ID (1 ticket per student ID). Visit your local venue’s website for more info.”

In comparison, standard general admission for his ongoing run of dates in North America has been over $100, which is unaffordable to most students who likely missed out on buying tickets before they sold out upon going on sale. Now, this new initiative provides them another opportunity to see White live.

White is set to spend the majority of 2025 on the road, including two performances at the King’s Theatre in Brooklyn this week. He will arrive in Europe later this month for shows in Paris and Utrecht before stopping by the United Kingdom for concerts in London, Birmingham and Glasgow.

Meanwhile, earlier this week, White hit back at “entitled” fans who demanded his concerts last longer, stating, “I know that we’re living in a current era where people like to say ‘so and so played for 3 hours last night!’, and brag about it the next day hahaha, I’ll let our fans know now that my mind has no intention of ‘impressing’ y’all in that context.”

White, whose current tour shows include between 20 and 25 songs, added: “The Beatles and Ramones played 30-minute (ish) sets, and If I could, I would do the same at this moment in my performing life. That’s actually the kind of show I’d like to put on right now.”
