Jack White is getting The Raconteurs back together

Jack White, while still on his worldwide tour supporting his album Boarding House Reach, has now announced that he will be getting his old band The Raconteurs back together again.

Alongside that little morsel of goodness from the Third Man maestro, there was also the announcement of a third full-length record from The Raconteurs. The first for the band with Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keeler, since 2008’s Consolers of the Lonely.

We may have to wait until next year for the full album but there are two new tracks on the way as part of the tenth-anniversary edition of Consolers of the Lonely.

The latest Third Man Records’ quarterly Vault subscription series will see Consolers of the Lonely pressed on a copper foil metallic vinyl, marking the first time the double LP has been available on colored vinyl. An additional 7″ contains the two new songs, also pressed on mixed metal vinyl.
