J. Cole has shared two brand new tracks in the form of ‘The Climb Back’ and ‘Lion King On Ice’.
Taking to social media on July 21, Cole confirmed that the two songs will be the first to be lifted from his upcoming new album The Fall Off, which follows on from 2018’s KOD. The release date for the album is still unknown with Cole revealing to his fans that he is still finishing the record.
On Instagram, Cole also revealed to fans that with his sixth record having been delayed due to the coronavirus and the delay is absolutely fine with him judging by his comment: “No date for the album yet, taking my time, still finishing”.
J.Cole’s KOD became his fifth consecutive number-one project on the Billboard 200 and featured set a record of six simultaneous top 20 hits on the Billboard Hot 100—an accomplishment which tied him with The Beatles.
Cole also took on production duties for ‘The Climb Back’ and co-produced ‘Lion King On Ice’ with T-Minus and Jetson. He has released both songs under the title Lewis Street.
