‘It Ends With Us’ star Isabela Ferrer claims Justin Baldoni is “harassing” her
Another star from the film It Ends With Us has claimed that Justin Baldoni is “harassing” her, amid the ongoing trial between him and his co-star Blake Lively.
Isabela Ferrer played the role of Young Lily in the film and has been subpoenaed by both Lively and Baldoni in the case, meaning she is ordered to attend court to provide testimony.
However, Ferrer’s legal representative claimed on August 17th that Baldoni has been “harassing” the young actor, who is 24 years old and made her screen debut in the film, playing the younger part of Lively’s lead character.
According to Variety, the lawyer claims that Baldoni is attempting to use his financial status to control how Ferrer should respond to Lively’s portion of the subpoena.
This revolves around the fact that Baldoni has been ordered to pay the actor’s legal fees since he was her employer, but his team have allegedly been attempting to use this as leverage for her testimony to the trial.
Ferrer’s lawyer, Sanford Michelman, said in a statement: “While Ms Ferrer will faithfully comply with her legal obligations under any subpoena, summons or court order, she obviously will not be intimidated or extorted by any party to otherwise participate in the proceedings.”
Ferrer has been summoned to the case as a part of Lively’s lawsuit against Baldoni for sexual harassment and spearheading a smear campaign against her after she complained about his conduct, all of which he denies.
Specifically, Lively alleges that Baldoni had originally written a scene into the film in which Young Lily loses her virginity. After it had been filmed, she has accused the director and actor of walking up to Ferrer and her partner in the scene and saying: “I know I’m not supposed to say this, but that was hot.”
However, Baldoni’s lawyers have released evidence attempting to counter this claim, displaying text messages between Ferrer and himself in which she calls him a “great director” and “wonderful to work with.” Subsequently, they allege that Ferrer has been forced to conform with Lively’s side of the case since the accusations of the smear campaign emerged.
The trial is scheduled to begin in March 2026.
