Independent Venue Week 2026: Nova Twins, Brògeal and Eve Goodman confirmed as ambassadors

Independent Venue Week has officially announced their ambassadors for 2026: Nova Twins, Brògeal, and Eve Goodman.

Kicking off on January 26th, the week-long celebration of independent music and arts venues aims to celebrate the crucial role that local support plays in upholding important cultural hubs that, in turn, allow new talent to flourish.

This year, Nova Twins will be playing an exclusive show at the Amersham Arms in New Cross, London. The 300-capacity venue represents a return to their roots, as the rock duo formed in London in 2014.

Additionally, Brògeal will play two shows over the week: One will take place in Galashiels, while the other will take place in Dumfries.

Eve Goodman will also perform a solo show in Mold, Wales, at Caffi ISA Arts. She will be supported by Grace Elizabeth Harvey.

In total, 236 independent venues across the UK will be involved in the week-long effort.

The founder and CEO of Independent Venue Week, Sybil Bell, has praised this year’s line-up, sharing in an officialy statement: “I’m so honoured that IVW continues to attract such brilliant artist ambassadors, and these shows really encapsulate what this celebration is all about.”

Bell continued, “Whether it’s Nova Twins going back to a formative venue that’s close to their hearts, or Brògeal and Eve veering away from the UK’s major cities to play in music-loving towns such as Galashiels, Dumfries and Mold. That’s such an important aspect of what we’re aiming to achieve.”

An exciting array of shows will also take place up and down the country, with more shows to be announced shortly. Groups such as Dove Ellis, Sorry, Bug Club, The Orielles, The Pill, and many more, will lend their music to the cause.

IVW26 is supported by a range of partners, such as Arts Council England, Beavertown, BBC 6 Music, the Welsh Government via Creative Wales and by The National Lottery through Creative Scotland and PPL.
