Henry Rollins & more to star in new kids TV show

A new kids TV show is to be launched  by the creators of Miley Cyrus’ launchpad Hannah Montana featuring contributions from Black Flag frontman Henry Rollins – as well as a host of other big names from the world of rock ‘n’ roll.

A History of Radness follows the journey of two young pupils from from middle-school awkwardness and obscurity through to the beginning of a blossoming career in the world of alt-rock.

Rollins plays fictional sports coach Coach Carlucci, offfering the youngsters some invaluable advice on how to make it in the music world.

Also involved is Best Coast singer Bethany Cosentino, who narrates alongside the frontman from Imagine Dragons, Dan Reynolds.

Meanwhile much of the soundtrack has been penned by Smashing Pumpkins guitarist, James Iha.

It remains unclear when the first series of the show will arrive on our screens, but to catch a segment of the show’s pilot, head to Amazon.
