HBO announce ‘The Sopranos: 25th Anniversary Collection’

HBO Max has announced The Sopranos: 25th Anniversary collection, featuring previously unseen material.

The collection is available to stream now and includes 15 deleted scenes from David Chases’s hit crime drama, three of which have never been seen before. In addition, over five hours of eye-opening behind-the-scenes featurettes will be included. This comes alongside every episode of The Sopranos that is available to stream on the subscription service.

HBO will also be celebrating a quarter century of The Sopranos in several other ways. On January 10th, the streaming platform will partner with Alamo Drafthouse to host “Family Reunion” screenings in New York and Los Angeles to mark the landmark anniversary of the hit show’s official premiere. The screenings feature special guests, trivia, themes and more.

Elsewhere, from January 11th to February 4th, the famed New York Italian restaurant Da Nico will be offering Sopranos-inspired food, including Carmela’s Baked Ziti and Satriale’s Special Caprese. This will give fans a chance to dive more tangibly into the world of Tony Soprano.

HBO Max has also partnered with Robert Iler and Jamie-Lynn Sigler for a 25th-anniversary special of their Not Today, Pal, podcast. Reprising their roles as AJ and Meadow from the show, they will answer questions from fans. The complete episode will be available on January 18th on the official HBO YouTube channel and other major platforms.

Elsewhere, for one day, on January 10th, fans in New York and Los Angeles will be treated to the official Satriale’s pop-up, which also brings the Sopranos-inspired Italian sandwich from Regina’s and Ggiata in the respective cities to their doors through the app, Postmates.
