Harry Styles took to the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to deliver some brilliant covers of both Lizzo and Paul McCartney as well as performances of his own songs ‘Adore You’ and ‘Lights Up’.
The former One Direction star made a name for himself in the studio when the singer decided to take on one of the biggest songs of the year, Lizzo’s ‘Juice’. Harry Styles delivers a bouncing and groove-filled rendition that really showed off his penchant for a bop.
Styles also said of Lizzo, “She’s exactly what you want an artist to be I think, which is yourself.” Something that Lizzo responded to with “melts” in her own social media post.
Harry wasn’t done there though, with a nod to the festive time of year, the star also covered the Christmas classic from Sir Paul McCartney ‘Wonderful Christmastime’.
The singer also performed two tracks from his sophomore record Fine Line which has seen Styles elevate himself beyond his pop star beginnings. Listen below to the studio session which saw Harry Styles cover Lizzo’s ‘Juice’ and Paul McCartney’s ‘Wonderful Christmastime’.
