Guns N’ Roses member Melissa Reese to miss upcoming tour for personal reasons
Guns N’ Roses have confirmed that Melissa Reese is set to miss the band’s upcoming tour.
Reese has been the band’s keyboardist for the past decade since joining the group in 2016, however, she will not be joining the rock giants for their huge run of dates throughout 2026.
In a statement, the band explained, “Melissa Reese will not be joining the band on tour due to unforeseen personal reasons. We hope our fans understand.”
They have not confirmed who will be replacing Reese for the upcoming run of dates.
Reese has not yet personally commented on her decision to sit out from their upcoming world tour or expanded on the circumstances.
Guns N’ Roses’ 2026 touring itinerary will get underway in Monterrey, Mexico, on March 28th before visiting Porto Alegre, Brazil, on April 1st, with the band set to play nine shows in the Latin American country.
Then, in May, they will play two shows in Florida, including Welcome to Rocksville at Daytona Beach. The tour will then break for a month before restarting in Europe in June.
Guns N’ Roses’ headline show at Download Festival remains a UK-exclusive stop on the tour, but they will perform at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, on June 10th. Other notable European cities include Amsterdam, Berlin and Paris.
Their US stadium tour gets underway at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh on July 23rd, which will keep Guns N’ Roses on the road for two months before it concludes at Truist Park in Atlanta on September 19th.
