Green Day and Guns 'N' Roses join forces to cover David Bowie, Nirvana and The Damned

What did you do for New Year’s Eve? Did you go to a party? Did you go see a gig? Did you go to a party where members of Green Day and Guns ‘N’ Roses got together to perform covers of Nirvana, David Bowie, The Damned and more

The Coverups are a band consisting of Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirt, plus their manager Bill Schneider, audio engineer Chris Dugan, and session guitarist Jason White. After a few festive shows, they were joined by Guns ‘N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan to cover The Damend’s ‘Neat, Neat, Neat’ on New Year’s Eve.

The band also did a few great tracks earlier in the Festive period which saw them take on two Bowie hits ‘Suffragette City’ and ‘All The Young Dudes’ among some other notable tracks.

They also did some brilliant covers of Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Bryan Adams, The Stones and INXS amongst others.

In general, this everything you need to help pretend that you’re not back at work.
