Golden Globes 2025: The full winners list

At the Golden Globes in Los Angeles on January 5th, host Nikki Glaser oversaw a memorable night for the film and television industry.

Every year, the Golden Globes event acts as a vital part of the awards season, often providing a key indicator of the selection of movies that are set to dominate at the Baftas and the Academy Awards. At this year’s ceremony, The Brutalist had a particularly special evening as it took home the top prize in major categories like ‘Best Motion Picture – Drama’.

Additionally, the Spanish-language film Emilia Pérez had a successful night at the Golden Globes. It beat off strong competition from All We Imagine As Light, The Girl With The Needle, I’m Still Here, The Seed of the Sacred Fig and Vermiglio to scoop ‘Best Foreign Language Film’.

Emilia Pérez, which was acquired by Netflix following the Cannes Film Festival, was the most nominated movie at the 2025 Golden Globes with ten nods. The Jacques Audiard movie was also shortlisted in major categories such as ‘Best Motion Picture – Drama’, and Audiard is also up for ‘Best Director – Motion Picture’.
