Goat announce rare London show with support from The Moonlandingz
On Saturday 29th July, London’s Brixton O2 Academy will play host to the mysterious and heavily psychedelic masked Swedish band Goat, who’ll be joined on the evening by a number of very specials guests. After slots at Glastonbury, Green Man, End of the Road and legendary headlining shows at Liverpool Psychedelic Festival, the band are back in the UK for a rare London show, following a performance at WOMAD on the 28th July.
Amongst the special guests joining Goat at Brixton will be The Moonlandingz and Jane Weaver – with more to be announced shortly.
Goat have been creating crazed psyche-rock and tribal infused beats for several years. The release of their third studio album Requiem in 2016 lead to a sold out tour, and succeeded to fuel the fire of their popularity, and spread the word about their shamanistic brand of musical voodoo.
If all this wasn’t exciting enough, Rocket Recordings have announced the release of a new special limited edition 7” for Record Store Day. The single is a previously unreleased version of ‘Goatfuzz’ – one of the stand out tracks off their latest album Requiem.
Tickets are on-sale from Thursday 13th April at midday.
