Glastonbury Festival has bucked the recent trend of festival cancellations due to Coronavirus and has instead revealed it’s third and final headliner, rap icon, Kendrick Lamar.
Glastonbury Festival has never really been about conformity so while much of the world continues to ponder an unprecedented pandemic, Glasto has been looking to spread at least a few smiles.
Alongside the announcement of the final headliner, the brilliant Kendrick Lamar, there was also another wave of brilliant acts making their way to Worthy Farm this summer.
“No one has a crystal ball to see exactly where we will all be 15 weeks from now, but we are keeping our fingers firmly crossed that it will be here at Worthy Farm for the greatest show on Earth,” said chief Glastonbury organiser, Emily Eavis.
Set to take place June 24th-28th, other acts that have been revealed for the festival include FKA twigs, Burna Boy, Robyn, Thom Yorke, Ed O’Brien (as EOB), Camila Cabello, and Caribou, among others.
While it’s true that nobody can predict the scale of the Coronavirus impact but judging by this post, Glastonbury is making sure they’re ready to go should they be allowed to.
