Glastonbury 2025: Watch Wolf Alice perform emotional ‘Don’t Delete the Kisses’
Wolf Alice had the emotions running high during their set at Glastonbury Festival, as they played the emotional anthem ‘Don’t Delete the Kisses’ for a humongous crowd.
Upon the song’s 2017 release, Far Out wrote, “‘Don’t Delete The Kisses’ is what people have come to expect from the quartet. A huge chunk of sweetness with a touch of bitterness, a pop-tinged indie rock and roll smiler.” Despite being less than a decade old, the single has cemented itself into the indie-pop canon and has surely soundtracked many unforgettable teenage nights.
During their Sunday evening set on The Other Stage, the very same spot where Charli XCX had strutted across only the night prior, the band were on top form during the huge hit. North London performer Ellie Rowsell led the crowd through all the high notes, appearing moved as she heard the sound echo gently back to her.
2025 is a huge year for the band. It marks their comeback, as they slowly release singles from their upcoming LP The Clearing, scheduled to arrive on August 29th, 2025, through Columbia Records. Later this year, Wolf Alice will head out on their first headline UK arena tour, which includes huge dates at The O2 in London and the AO Arena in Manchester.
Performing before The Prodigy leaves a huge gap to fill, what with the majority of the crowd expectantly waiting for he big beat hardcore rave music of the legendary band. Wolf Alice filled the space, and then some, proving their indie-rock anthems are arena-ready.
Friday night at Glastonbury saw The 1975 headline the Pyramid Stage and Loyle Carner headline the Other Stage. On Saturday night, Charli XCX, Neil Young, Scissor Sisters and Doechii headlined each of the main stages. On Sunday, Olivia Rodrigo will close the weekend.
