Glastonbury 2025: Watch Djo perform hit ‘End of Beginning’
Stranger Things star Joe Keery is a musician in his own right, performing as the indie starlet Djo. Today, he took to the Woodsies stage at Glastonbury to grace his loyal fans with a rendition of ‘End of Beginning’.
The song has become a viral hit since its release in 2022, racking up a whopping 1.5billion listens on Spotify. It typifies his lo-fi retro stylings and emotive slacker delivery.
The first Djo album was released in 2019 with Twenty Twenty. The band have since gone on to release two further records, with the latest, The Crux, arriving in 2025. Increasingly, Keery seems to be leaning into the musical side of his artistry.
Speaking about his latest record, Far Out, wrote, “I have no doubt that this album will find a place in the hearts of many. Your friend is going to love it. It will be played on the radio, in cars where you’re a passenger, and in coffee shops, but the skip button may well be utilised, too.”
Continuing, “It will stay as one of those records that blend seamlessly into the background rather than dominating the musical sphere. It is well worth a listen, but it often lacks bite.”
However, ‘End of Beginning’ is a certified banger that proves impossible to ignore. So, it’s far from surprising that it brought a mass of young revellers to the Woodsies stage to see Djo play at the fabled Worthy Farm for the very first time.
Many of those same fans will likely flock to the Pyramid Stage later this evening, where Olivia Rodrigo is set to close proceedings with her headline performance. Prior to that, the main stage will also play host to Noah Kahan and a legend’s slot by Rod Stewart.
For now, you can check out Djo rattling off ‘End of Beginning’ below.
