The first trailer for 2020’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife has finally landed and fans are rejoicing. The latest in the Ghostbusters franchise has a trailer that you can see below.

Directed by Jason Reitman, the son of Ivan Reitman who directed the first two iconic pictures, the film has been a long time in the making. Starring Carrie Coon, Mckenna Grace and Finn Wolfhard, the film follows a single mother and her two children as they move to a haunted house in Oklahoma.

The list of stars is even bigger than that, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Sigourney Weaver are due to make cameo appearances having appeared in the original films.

While the 2016 all-female reboot performed incredibly well at the box office it was widely lampooned by fans of the original as well as being notable for it’s misogynistic and racial faux pas.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is due for release on 10 July in the US and UK.
