Geto Boys’ Bushwick Bill reveals stage 4 cancer diagnosis

Bushwick Bill, co-founder of Geto Boys, has revealed a stage 4 cancer diagnosis.

Having originally joined group as a dancer in 1986, he went on to become one third of the best-known incarnation of the group, alongside Willie D and Scarface.

The 52-year-old explained to TMZ that the news has come as a major shock after doctors originally told him, after months of tests, that the mass on his pancreas was benign.

The rapper, who also confirmed plans to release three new albums, has also held preliminary discussions about creating both a book and documentary feature.

Having kept the news private until now, Bill has confirmed that he is currently undergoing intense chemotherapy as he continues to battle the illness.
