We are long time supporters of the band Warmduscher. We feel reservations when describing the artists Warmduscher as such, purely because when you say ‘band’ one thinks of the identikit frontman, guitar, bass, drums and a kicky little attitude. But Warmduscher are so much more, and they’ve just shared some news to equally make us cry with happiness and shit with fear.

Formed out of members of Insecure Men, Childhood, Fat White Family, Paranoid London and probably the odd Moscow State Circus trapeze artist somewhere, they produce something a level above ‘raucous rock’. And now, not only have they shared the brilliant video for long time favourite track ‘Big Wilma’ but they’ve also announced that their new album, which has been flirted with for months via social media, Whale City is duly on the way.

June 1st 2018, is the release date and is the perfect juxtaposing release date for a band in the midst of their own winter of discontent, and deadly serious about their anarchic and downright angry rock and roll. ‘Big Wilma’ is testament to that, a blistering buzz of riffs designed to serrate not slit, it provides the perfect opening to what’s to come.

They’re touring all over, the dates of which are below some oddball fucking video for ‘Big Wilma’. So nice to have you back Warmduscher.
