Today, Far Out favourites Gengahr have shared their brand new EP I’ll Be Waiting, the glorious 5 track show-stopper that today needed.

Led by single ‘I’ll Be Waiting’ the band find themselves exploring a new angle on this record. Offering the same psych-pop gaiety we all love, but with the added humour of a band starting to realise the joke of it all. As Felix Bushe offers; “direct and uncomplicated, a lot like love is when it’s happening”

It’s also a record brimming with charm, due to the strong acoustic element which runs through the release. Including acoustic renditions of their brilliant singles ‘Carrion, ‘Mallory’ as well as ‘I’ll be Waiting’ and ‘Rising Tides’.

Felix from the band shared this about the record: “At first, the idea of making acoustic versions of our music felt quite daunting – but there’s something beautifully honest and vulnerable about presenting the songs in this way, and we really hope people enjoy these different representations as much as we did putting them together.”
