Garth Brooks confirmed as first headliner of BST Hyde Park in 2026
Country musician Garth Brooks has been confirmed as the first headliner of BST Hyde Park in 2026.
This summer, BST Hyde Park in London welcomed many of the biggest artists in the world to London, including Sabrina Carpenter, Neil Young, Olivia Rodrigo, Zach Bryan, Stevie Wonder, and Noah Kahan. Now, it’s looking ahead to 2026.
Brooks, who is the biggest-selling solo artist in US history with 162 million records sold, is set to perform on June 27th, 2026. Special guests will be revealed at a later date.
The upcoming show in the English capital will mark his first show in the United Kingdom since 1998. He did, however, play five shows in Dublin at Croke Park in 2022. Brooks was initially meant to play five concerts at the same venue in 2014, but cancelled after a license was only granted for three performances.
Jim King, CEO of AEG Presents UK and European Festivals, said of bringing Brooks to BST Hyde Park next summer: “Announcing Garth Brooks as our first BST Hyde Park headliner for 2026 is a landmark moment.”
King continued: “He joins the line of legendary artists who have defined BST over the years. A true global icon, Garth’s songs have connected with audiences everywhere, and his influence has paved the way for many of the country stars we celebrate today. His first UK performance in nearly three decades promises to be an unforgettable occasion at Hyde Park.”
General sale for the concert goes on sale on September 18th at 10am, with artist fanclub pre-sale beginning on September 16th at 10am.
Last year, Brooks was accused of sexual assault and battery in a civil lawsuit filed in Los Angeles by a hair and makeup artist relating to an alleged incident in 2019. He denied the accusation, saying through a representative to Deadline, “For the last two months, I have been hassled to no end with threats, lies, and tragic tales of what my future would be if I did not write a check for many millions of dollars. It has been like having a loaded gun waved in my face.”
