Frightened Rabbit announce first performance since Scott Hutchison’s death

Frightened Rabbit have confirmed their return to the live stage for the first time since Scott Hutchison’s death.

Lead singer Hutchison tragically took his own life in May this year. “There are no words to describe the overwhelming sadness and pain that comes with the death of our beloved Scott but to know he is no longer suffering brings us some comfort,” the band said after a brief search for Hutchison concluded.

Now, Grant Hutchison – Frightened Rabbit’s drummer and Scott’s brother- confirmed that the band have plans to return: “We had agreed to play Sleep in the Park before Scott passed and we felt that since it was something for such a great cause that we should stick to our decision and honour Scott in the best way we know—to play the songs he wrote and continue spreading his message of kindness whilst supporting Social Bite and the amazing work they do,” he told the BBC.

The band will also be joined by several guest vocalists, one of which includes the Twilight Sad’s James Graham.
