
‘Friday the 13th’ actor Lar Park Lincoln dead at 63
Actor Lar Park Lincoln, best known for her role in Friday the 13th: Part VII: The New Blood, has died aged 63.
Lincoln, who battled breast cancer, died on April 22nd. The actor’s Dallas-based acting school, Actors Audition Studios, confirmed her death on Facebook, writing: “It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lar Park Lincoln, celebrated actress, founder of Actors Audition Studios, and America’s beloved Audition Coach, on April 22, 2025.”
Their statement continued: “Over her 45-year career, Lar left an unforgettable mark on Hollywood through her dynamic performances and dedication to mentoring aspiring actors.”
In addition to her appearance on Friday the 13th: Part VII: The New Blood, Lincoln was a prominent figure in the horror world, and she was also featured in House II: The Second Story and an episode of Freddy’s Nightmares.
For four years, between 1987 and 1991, Lincoln played a regular character on the American soap opera, Knots Landing. Her other television credits include Murder, She Wrote, Beverly Hills, 90210, Hunter, Outlaws and Highway to Heaven.
During the later years of her life, Lincoln continued to act in independent horror movies sporadically, but her time was largely occupied with Actors Audition Studios. She also detailed her life in the entertainment business in the 2008 autobiography, Get Started, Not Scammed.
Actors Audition Studios also said: “The family requests privacy during this time and is grateful for the outpouring of love over Lar’s four-decade career. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The SAG-AFTRA Foundation or The Entertainment Community Fund.”
Lincoln, whose husband, Michael Lincoln, passed away in 2015, is survived by her daughter, Piper, her son, Trevor, and four grandchildren.
