Foo Fighters announce three intimate last-minute UK and Ireland shows
Foo Fighters have announced that they will be embarking on a string of three intimate dates in the UK and Ireland, taking place between February 23rd and February 27th.
The acclaimed rock group will first make an appearance at the Academy in Dublin on the 23rd, before heading to Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London for the 25th, and culminating in Manchester at the O2 Ritz on the 27th.
Given the size of the venues and the short notice afforded to fans prior to the shows, tickets will only be available for collection in person from the venues, starting from 12pm on February 22nd.
Tickets for all three performances have been announced as £99/€99, and are expected to sell out fast due to high demand.
Foo Fighters are no strangers to performing intimate and secret shows, especially in the UK, with a notable example being when they performed at the Cheese and Grain in Frome as a warm-up for their 2017 headline appearance at Glastonbury.
This follows the news that the band will embark on a stadium tour of Europe in June and July, of which the only two UK dates will take place at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool on June 25th and 27th.
Foo Fighters will also be taking their tour across North America in August and September, before heading to Australia and New Zealand in November and January 2027
The band have also recently announced that they will be releasing their 12th studio album, Your Favorite Toy, on April 24th, and have shared the album’s title track as the lead single, which they gave their first live performance of on The Graham Norton Show on BBC One on Friday.
The forthcoming album follows 2023’s But Here We Are, the first album that the band made together following the tragic passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins in 2022. Since then, the band hired Josh Freese as their full-time drummer, before acrimoniously parting ways with him and swapping him for Nine Inch Nails drummer Ilan Rubin, who features on the new release.
