Take the first look at the stony face of an uncompromising hologram of the legendary rocker Frank Zappa. The hologram which is due to tour the globe next year offers an uncanny confrontational stare.

EyeIlusion and the Zappa Family Trust released the tour dates for their hugely hyped hologram tour, The Bizarre World of Frank Zappa, with a first detailed look at the late rock and roll star. Famous for his controversial art the hologram address the recent cloud above the head of it’s own tour.

Apparently, Ticketmaster wasn’t the biggest fan of the drafted up artwork for the tour. Calling an image of a penguins bum, in reference to the song ‘Penguin In Bondage’. It’s hard to argue with the likeness and with the added ‘Warning Guarantee’ label (which Zappa famously volunteered onto his album) there’s an incredibly self-referential tone.
