West Midlands five-piece Feet have released a new video for the song ‘Busy Waiting’, the third track from their recent EP Walking Machine.
“‘Busy Waiting’ is trying to capture that frustration of waiting for somebody to get a move on,” explains frontman George Haverson. “As a professional faffer myself, it was quite easy to slip into both of those roles for the writing and I’m chuffed with the amount of tension we’ve squeezed into a relatively short track.”
Describing Feet for the uninitiated is an unenviable task. They’re supremely fun and goofy, but also have heavy, dramatic tendencies. They’re kind of punk, kind of indie rock, kind of post-punk, kind of post-rock. Really, Feet revel in how silly it sounds trying to categorise them with traditional genres signifiers.
Feet will also be performing a few UK shows in August. Most of them are sold out, but if you happen to be in Nottingham, Birmingham, or Bristol, then you’re in luck because tickets are still available.
