Father John Misty Covers Arcade Fire’s ‘The Suburbs’

On a recent trip to Vancouver, the madman of love Father John Misty, took part in CBC’s b.b. Gun sessions and init he created possibly one of the best covers of the year. He performed a delicate rendition of Arcade Fire’s ‘The Suburbs’.

This follows the I Love You, Honeybear singer’s haunting cover of Nirvana’s ‘Heart Shaped Box’ for Valentine’s Day amongst other covers of Cat Stevens and Leonard Cohen. FJM’s ability to add his own personal affliction to incredibly popular songs only shines his light further as an incredible artist.

He is touring across North America and hitting every festival the US has to offer. If you haven’t had the pleasure of seeing him yet, don’t waste your time wondering.
