‘Euphoria’ announces 18 new additions to season three cast, including Natasha Lyonne

The third season of Euphoria will include eighteen new faces, including Natasha Lyonne and Trisha Paytas.

The HBO series is slated for a spring 2026 return after multiple delays have widened the release gap since the second season was released in early 2022. It will welcome a host of new faces, including Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, and Eli Roth.

The Sam Levinson drama will also include Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Colleen Camp, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, Jessica Blair Herman, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Rebecca Pidgeon, and Sam Trammell.

Most of the A-listers, such as Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, and Dominic Fike, will be returning. However, Austin Abrams and Algee Smith were not included in the newly released HBO cast list.

Additionally, Storm Reid will not be returning, as she revealed in November 2024 that her character, Rue’s sister Gia, would not be featured in the new season. Barbie Ferreira, who played Kat left the series in August 2022 over creative differences.

Tragedy struck the series in July of 2023, when Angus Cloud, who played Fezco in the first two seasons, passed away at the age of 25. The actor died as a result of an accidental drug overdose in Oakland, California.

The series will also enjoy an updated crew. Four-time Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood will join as a co-producer, while Natasha Newman-Thomas will join as costume designer, and Francois Audouy as production designer. Hans Zimmer is on board for several episodes of Season three. Labrinth, who spearheaded the music of the first two seasons, will also return.

The season will lift the high-schoolers out of high school with a time jump; Creator Sam Levinson described the season’s style as “film noir” as the actors face the tensions of adulthood.
