Emily & Ogden (AKA Emily Khan and Ogden, a type of harp she plays) have treated us to this magically mysterious new track. The gentle licks of ‘Go Home’ add glamour while haunting organs add intrigue and with every developing note we become a little more fascinated with Khan.
The video to accompany this is equally as art-fuelled and drenched in darkness. Complete with sing-a-long style subtitles the lyrics add heaps of intensity to this already wondrous track. Their poignancy and simple poetry gives texture to an already developing sound.
The stripped-back nature puts Khan in a place of her own at the moment. It’s intelligent and heartfelt, what every songwriter should aspire to be. Taken form the album 10,000 out now on Secret City Records we suggest you pick it up or catch her and one of the below dates.
