Despite the widespread cancellation and delay of live tour dates, the music industry is showing signs of returning to a state of normality with its future plans.
While the next twelve months may seem like barren land with the cancelled summer festival season leaving a huge live music gap, bands are preparing to hit the road once more in 2021. One such band to join in on the act is post punk icons Echo & The Bunnymen.
The group, planning to perform their extensive back catalogue in a string of dates that will coincide with the 40th anniversary of their debut album Crocodiles, will be playing live in May next year.
“Well then, here are the dates for our 2021 UK tour,” frontman Ian McCulloch said if the tour. “I can’t wait to be out there with the band on all those stages in all those cities and towns, doing what I love most, playing our magical songs to our brilliant fans and, hopefully, making all our lives a little bit happier along the way.”
