This is a view that also seems to be shared by Derbyshire indie-rock duo Drenge, who have invited fans and friends to take them on at Fantasy Football.
Eoin and Rory Loveless have posted their league code on Facebook, challenging soccer mad music fans to show them who’s boss by managing a fictional eleven to glory come next May. Head here to see the post and find out that all important code.
It’s not surprising that the brothers have once again declared their love for football, having previously revealed that their name, which translates to ‘boys’ in Danish, came from the shouts they heard while having a kickabout with a group of Scandinavian friends.
Back to their day jobs, however, and Drenge will head stateside this week to continue their assault on the US after they were seen conquering Boardmasters festival in Cornwall just yesterday.
