Drenge announce new album 'Strange Creatures' and a 2019 tour

Drenge have been dropping some classic tracks of late, which led us all to think there may be an album on the way. Well, look at our smarty-pants because Drenge have announced their third LP Strange Creatures is due out on February 22nd 2019.

Despite releasing a whole new host of material the band is actually producing a relatively new set of material for the album excluding previously released ‘This Dance’. The brothers Loveless are the foreword in heavy and handsome when it comes to British rock and the newest announcement of a new album for 2019 is matched by the band announcing a brand new tour. You can find the details of that below via the link.

Speaking of the new album in a statement, the band said: “It’s a nocturnal record. A psychological horror movie on wax. Warped hallucinations from mundane observations as you move through it. Is that a school or a skyscraper on fire in the distance? Or maybe it’s just the ski village?

“You drive nearer, past roadside diners jammed with dancing teenagers, through Uncanny Valley, past the most unhygienic nightclub in the world. The stereo sounds like it’s going to fall apart at any moment. The car judders to a halt and all you can hear is the sound of the sea.”
