Drake was a guest on LeBron James and Maverick Carter’s show “The Shop”, where he opened up about his feud with Pusha-T and Kanye West. In the interview he let lose the fact he recorded a disstrack in response to Pusha’s “The Story of Addiction” but says he never released it as he said some “terrible thing.”
He states that he got home after recording his disstrack in response to Pusha’s where Pusha raps “someone is going to punch you in the fucking face” and listened back to the track. Reasoning why he didn’t want to release the track in the end Drake states that he “never want(s) to be remembered for” it which is why it never saw the light of day.
He did give props to Pusha-T’s “Story of Adidon in regards to his disstrack saying it was “one hell of a chess move”.
Later on in the show he discusses his feud with Kanye West, and implies that Kanye planned his string of releases from G.O.O.D music album to coincide with his album release. He talked about how Kanye invite him out to record and asked him to be “transparent” about his then set to be released Scorpion and its release date.
