Drake brought out J Hus on his tour just hours after he was released from prison

On the U.K. leg of Drake’s Assassination Vacation Tour the Canadian star hasn’t been shy about celebrating the U.K. scene, bringing out numerous artists on to the stage. Last night he brought out grime artist J Hus just hours after being released from prison.

Drake has been heavily promoting the U.K. scene at his o2 residency, which has been temporarily renamed o3, with guest spots from Giggs, Dave, Fredo and many more.

Teasing the crowd with the message “Welcome Home” written on the stage, Drake then said “If anyone’s sitting down right now, I need you to stand up because we’re going to celebrate one of our brothers tonight.” Enter J Hus.

The rapper returning from prison earlier than expected following his conviction for knife possession earlier in the year, came out to rapturous applause. He and Drake then went on to perform J Hus hit ‘Did You See’.
