DMA's extend mammoth autumn UK tour

It’s been over a year since DMA’s shared their third album, The Glow, and they are finally set to take it throughout the UK this Autumn.

The Australian band have had to agonisingly wait to get the show on the road, and travel restrictions this summer have forced them to wait until the Autumn to bring the album to these shores. The good news is that there are even more dates added to the run, including new stops in Sheffield, Cardiff, Birmingham, and Belfast.

DMA’s were originally planning to perform at a series of festivals, including the cancelled Y-Not, and Kendal Calling. They also had huge outdoor headline shows booked at Castlefield Bowl and Millenium Square in Manchester and in Leeds, respectively. However, they will now be performing at indoor venues in the northern cities later this year.

“We’re gutted that we aren’t able to come over and play the UK this summer. We’d been trying to make it work and were all ready to go, but the recent festival situation means it’s no longer feasible,” DMA’s previously said in a statement.

“We really appreciate some of you have been holding tickets for well over a year, and we hope you agree that rather than wait yet another year we move the summer headline shows onto our autumn tour and into some great indoor venues. This way we get to see you a whole lot sooner! Thank you for your patience and we can’t wait to get over in October.”

Tickets for the added shows will go on sale here from 9amthis Friday, July 30th. Any remaining tickets for the previously announced dates are available from the same link.

Check out their full run of dates below, and treat yourself to a performance from Brixton Academy from the beginning of last year to get a taste of the DMA’s live experience.
