David Byrne performs ‘One Fine Day’ on Jimmy Kimmel, backed by Brooklyn Youth Chorus

Former lead singer of the Talking Heads, David Byrne, took to Jimmy Kimmel last night to give a huge performance of ‘One Fine Day’ backed by the Brooklyn Youth Chorus. It’s sumptuous viewing.

The show was broadcast from the Brooklyn Academy of Music and featured the massive performance of Byrne’s ‘One Fine Day’, which originally featured on Byrne’s 2008 record Everything That Happens Will Happen Today. More importantly, it has been an inclusion on David Byrne’s American Utopia on Broadway.

While the Grammy-nominated American Utopia was released in March 2018 it is his stage show which has been grabbing the headlines of late. The show recently kicked off its New York run at the Hudson Theatre. There’s even been a new release from the original cast recording of David Byrne’s American Utopia on Broadway.
