This must be the place: David Byrne adds more dates to 2026 tour

David Byrne has added even more dates to his current tour, as he continues to show no signs of slowing down.

The former Talking Heads frontman has been consistently on the road since the release of his album Who is the Sky? in September last year, with a massive run of shows already having taken him all over the world.

However, Byrne shows no signs of stopping any time soon, as he has just added another stint of shows to his line of upcoming dates, taking him to major venues across the US as well as to Asia.

In August, the 73-year-old singer will head to Asia for a leg that includes stops in Singapore, Thailand, Japan, and South Korea, before returning to the United States for dates in San Diego and Los Angeles, the latter of which will be two standout performances at the iconic Hollywood Bowl on August 28th and 29th.

Thereafter, Byrne will also perform two dates in New York in September, first stopping at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on September 17th, before closing out his touring schedule for this year so far with a show at the Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York.

Although Byrne has packed out his touring appearances over the past year, he still has many shows left to perform, with a new European leg taking him across the continent and the UK for festivals and his own shows this summer.

On top of this, having just performed both weekends of Coachella festival in California, he is still undertaking a current US leg of the Where is the Sky? tour.

He is next set to perform in Phoenix, Arizona on April 21st, before heading to Texas, Missouri, Indiana, Wisconsin, and more throughout April and May.

When he hits the UK this summer, Byrne will perform sold out shows in Halifax, Edinburgh, Suffolk, and Cardiff.
