Coachella 2025: Green Day, Post Malone and Lady Gaga to headline
Coachella has unveiled its line-up for next year with Green Day, Post Malone and Lady Gaga as the headliners.
The dates are set to run through the weekends of April 11th to 13th and April 18th to 20th. Lady Gaga is set to headline on Friday, Green Day on Saturday and Malone on the closing Sunday night. Other big-name acts for the festival include Travis Scott who is set to deliver a special show on the Saturday following Green Day, as well as Missy Elliott, Charli XCX, Megan Thee Stallion, and the original Misfits will be taking the stage.
This will be Gaga’s second time headlining the festival, having previously shared top billing in 2017. Since then, she has been riding high off of her duet with Bruno Mars, ‘Die With a Smile’, her role as Harley Quinn in Joker 2: Folie a Deux, and her subsequent soundtrack album, Harlequin, which features covers from the film.
Green Day have also been crisscrossing the globe over this past year in celebration of the 20th and 30th anniversaries of their albums American Idiot and Dookie, respectively. They have also been riding off the momentum of their latest album, Saviors, since January.
The announcement comes after a banner year for Post Malone, having worked on his country crossover album F-1 Trillion, featuring many big-name country artists, including Tim McGraw, Morgan Wallen, and Blake Shelton. He has also been holding a major spot on the charts this summer for the duet ‘I Had Some Help’.
Other notable acts set to appear at Coachella across both weekends include The Prodigy, FKA Twigs, The Go Go’s, Sam Fender, Kneecap, Japanese Breakfast, Beth Gibbons, Viagra Boys, The Dare, Kraftwerk, Maribou State, Soft Play, Clairo, Glass Beams, Beabadoobee, and Amyl and The Sniffers.
How to buy Coachella 2025 tickets
As fans prepare to secure their tickets for the event, the festival has announced that presale tickets will go on sale starting at 11am on Friday, November 22nd, PT. While fans can register for passes to the festival now, concert organisers are encouraging them to scout for passes for the second weekend to maximise their chances of getting spots.
The tickets are also split up into tiers based on the different perks offered. These include various general admission passes, a four-pack of passes, and VIP packages, which include access to various VIPs across the festival grounds. There are also offers on camping, which include various car camping passes and passes that guarantee access to power outlets, restrooms, and shower facilities.
Despite the main sale beginning on November 22nd, early access has been granted to concertgoers who attended Coachella in 2023 and 2024. The prices are also subject to change while supplies last, but general admission starts at $599 for the first weekend and $549 for the second weekend.
