Circa Waves release new track ‘Young Chasers’
Circa Waves have shared details of the release of a new single, ‘Young Chasers’, set to be released through Virgin on Monday, July 21st 2014.
Both tracks, featuring the B-side, ‘Shoot The Sky’, are available digitally and on 7”. They were recorded at RAK studios in London and produced by Dan Grech.
Explaining the writing and recording of the track, the band’s Kieran Shudall said: “‘Young Chasers’ is one of our most immediate songs, literally.
“It was written in the morning; the demo was recorded in the afternoon and put up on Soundcloud in the evening; that same night, people started playing it on radio.”
With appearances at this year’s Great Escape and Sound City festivals and a sold-out headline show at London’s Lexington under their belts, the band have announced a number of festival shows over the summer, including a prestigious slot on the second stage at Glastonbury, a statement that highlights their superb recent progression.
