One year after their brilliantly executed self-titled album, Cigarettes After Sex have announced a stand alone single to commemorate it. ‘Crush’ is yet another example of why you need to hear/see/taste this band.
With one of the best albums of last year in the bag, Cigarettes After Sex thought best to celebrate 12 months since its birth with a new single to please their fans. Built across the same foundations as the album (it was written and recorded at the same time), new track ‘Crush’ enacts all the sentiments of a puppy-love song with the same delicate and deliberate intentions.
The track also comes with some yummy tour news for all you fortunate enough to live in the US (fortunate?). This autumn the band will play select dates with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, including The Forum in LA. They will also perform alongside The National, Jason Isbell and more at Forest Hills Stadium in late September.
