CHVRCHES, The Horrors and more join Tame Impala on Citadel line-up

London’s Citadel Festival have announced a whole host of fresh names who will be joining headliners Tame Impala at the bash this summer such as CHVRCHES, The Horrors and Leon Bridges.

Other acts set to play the July festival include South London’s Shame and Goat Girl as well as Sea Girls, Isaac Gracie, Fat White Family and La Femme. There will also be sets from Honne, GOAT, Hawkwind, Sam Fender, Another Sky, The Howl & The Hum, Tamino, The Barr Brothers, Gang of Youth and R+R=NOW at the one day fest.

Earlier this month, it was announced that Tame Impala would be headlining this year’s event, as a UK festival exclusive. In addition, it was also revealed that after having to move from Victoria Park due to All Points east, they’ll be moving to Ealing’s Gunnersby Park for 2018.

Meanwhile, Far Out recently caught up with Tame Impala drummer Julien Barbagallo, who spoke about his excitement to headline the London festival and the band’s plans for the future

Barbagallo said: “We are going to play a few festivals around the world this summer. I’m really looking forward to it. We’ll be in London for the Citadel festival this summer.”

Danse Dans Les Ailleurs (Dance in Other Worlds) is released on March 2 via Sony Music France/Arista. The new record is Barbagallo’s second release having put out album Grand Chien in 2016.

Citadel kicks off on Sunday 15th July. Tickets are on sale now. Take a look at the line-up below.
