Cherry Glazerr announce new LP ‘Stuffed & Ready’ and share new track ‘Daddi’

LA trio Cherry Glazerr have today announced their brand new LP Stuffed & Ready to be released via Secretly Canadian on February 1st, 2019. The announcement also comes with a brand new track and video for ‘Daddi’.

The song is a searing attack on those who wish to constrain people to traditional gender roles. The video the accompanies it works similar to do the same while still holding an artistic cause alongside the political one.

The album, a ten-track jump into the mind’s eye of the artist, and Creevy in particular looks set to add fuel to the rise of a band, who after huge acclaim on their last release Apocalypstick, will be looking to make this new work their seminal release.

Following their last release, this album could’ve easily followed on it’s political thematics. However, as Creevy began writing the thirty songs that eventually became the ten of Stuffed & Ready, she found unexpected inspiration by turning inward. “I am telling my story of how I feel and where I am in life,” she says. “I’ve felt the need to explain my feelings … not just state them, but search for why I feel the way I do honestly. With Apocalipstick, I was an over-confident teenager trying to solve the world’s problems. With Stuffed & Ready, I’m a much more weary and perhaps a more cynical woman who believes you need to figure your own self out first.”
