Catfish and the Bottlemen stage times revealed for huge Cardiff and London stadium shows

This weekend, Catfish and the Bottlemen are set to play the two biggest headline dates of their career at Cardiff Principality Stadium (August 1st) and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London (August 3rd).

Following a headline performance at Reading and Leeds last year, a summer which marked their live return with a new look line-up after a hiatus, Catfish and the Bottlemen have played a number of huge shows in recent months, including Manchester’s Heaton Park, Belsonic in Belfast, and Glasgow Green ahead of TRNSMT.

However, these two concerts in Cardiff and London are their biggest yet. Doors are set to open at 17:00 for tonight’s show at the Principality. They will be joined by DMA’s, who will perform at 18:30, and Travis, who will take to the stage at 19:30.

Catfish and the Bottlemen are then due to take to the Principality Stadium at 20:45, with a curfew set for 22:30, which would allow the Van McCann-fronted group to perform an extended set in Cardiff.

Meanwhile, for the London show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on August 3rd, they will be joined again by DMA’s, who will open the show, and James will act as the main support. In an email sent to ticket holders, the venue confirmed Catfish and the Bottlemen will perform at 20:15 with the curfew set for 22:00. Doors will open at the earlier time of 16:30.

While unconfirmed, judging by Catfish’s set time, it’s likely that DMA’s will perform in London at 17:45 and James will perform at 18:45 on August 3rd.

Despite only officially releasing one song in six years, ‘Showtime,’ which they have never performed live, it’s been a summer to remember for Catfish, which has seen them bounce back after cancelling their tours of the US and Australia without explanation last year.

Upon releasing ‘Showtime’ in February 2024, a press release claimed that an album would follow later that year; however, no further singles or information have been released regarding their long-awaited fourth record. However, they did release a deluxe edition of their debut album, The Balcony, last September to celebrate its tenth anniversary.

After the shows this weekend, the band has no further concerts lined up in their schedule, which could allow them to restart the engine on their fourth album cycle, or perhaps, they’ll hibernate until festival season comes around again in 2026.
