Casting call for new Bob Dylan video
How many Bob Dylan fans would dream of getting within 100m of the great man, let alone 100cm. Due to be shot in Los Angeles, the casting call reads like a Hollywood skit, complete with a big bow tie and cigar.
The video is to be shot by Nash Edgerton who has previously worked with Dylan for the videos for ‘Must Be Santa Claus’, ‘Beyond Here Lies Nothin” and “Duquesne Whistle”.
Just before they grimaced and retorted, “Only in the movies, see” and tapped their gigantic cigar on the floor they gave out this casting call.
The casting call reads:
[DANCER] Female, 40+, full figured. Burlesque dancer, will need to dance in audition. Think timeless a la Lana Turner or Ava Gardner.
[SKETCHY GUY] 50s, rough trade, pock marked face, etc.
[FAT GUY] 45+, all around huge.
[BARTENDER] Male, 30s+, looking for characters.
