Cass McCombs shares video for ‘I’m A Shoe’

With some UK dates on their way for the imperious Cass McCombs he has shared a video for his recent track ‘I’m A Shoe’ the latest track to be taken from last year’s album Mangy Love.

The video was directed by previous collaborator Rachel Pony Cassells who had this to say in a statement “Creation, destruction, boom, ghost. In the song ‘I’m A Shoe’, Cass references the California boomtown / ghost town of Bodie, a town that rose to peak population in the late 1800’s gold rush. As people swarmed Bodie and scrambled to strike it rich, the town developed an unrivalled reputation for great violence, murder and a much feared figure – the ‘Bad Man of Bodie’.”

So if you want to see one of the world’s premiere song writers running around an abandoned town (not dressed as a shoe – but dressed in shoes at least) take a look below.
