Bring Me The Horizon respond to death of young fan at their show

The Sheffiled pop-punk band Bring Me The Horizon have responded to the horrific news that a young fan had died at their headline show at London’s Alexandra Palace. The band were playing one of two sold-out shows at the venue when tragedy struck.

The official cause of death remains unknown but the Ambulance Service were called to the North London venue on November 30th and the young male died at the scene.

The band shared the obvious shock and sadness via Twitter. The tweet read: “Words cannot express how horrified we are feeling this evening after hearing about the death of a young man at our show last night. Our hearts and deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones at this terrible time. We will comment further in due course.”

While some fans were left stunned by the news, having been oblivious to the situation, others pointed toward poor security measures as the reasoning behind the tragedy. Although the friendly nature of the crowd isn’t being questioned, we must all work together to ensure terrible moments like this become a thing of the past.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to all those involved.
